Group tours

We welcome group tours! In the past, we have hosted groups from historical societies from other areas, retirement communities, and schools. Call 434-277-5526 to arrange a tour.

For more information about tours for school classes, see our Educational Resources page.

Museum Shop

Our small museum shop offers a variety of items relating to the history of Nelson County. See our Museum Shop page for a list of many of those items.

For handicapped parking, enter the driveway to the left of the museum (not the main parking lot).

Please note that only the first floor of the museum is wheelchair accessible. Currently, this floor contains Education Exhibit, the Tavern Room as well as a computer containing the Camille Resource Center files (photos, videos, articles, etc, relating to the Camille disaster).
